"Life is like a roller coaster. Sometimes you close your eyes and hold on in shear terror & other times, you just have to raise your hands up in the air and enjoy the ride..."
It's funny to me how so many things can change in such a short amount of time, and how we absorb all the change through our emotions.
For instance, sometimes you may get the feeling that everything that could possibly happen, does. You may be hit in life with many changes all at once that make you feel as though you have been taken up and down and back up again. Life throws us ALL many types of obstacles. What we need to realize, though, is that life also throws at us many rewards. When the two jumble together and we are hit with both obstacles AND rewards, we feel as though we are on a ride. Only because it is then that we are hit with two very different types of feelings; happiness, and sadness.
When those feelings take over, I call it the "roller coaster" effect. The main question, though, is how do you react?
While sometimes you may be the one closing your eyes and letting fear take over, you need to strive more to be like the one in the front row screaming with joy and their hands up in the air. Life is better that way. Don't let your emotions take over. Don't let every little thing consume you. Know that life will bring you ups and downs, but that is the fun part!
Another words, learn to enjoy the ride. :)
